Phoenix Imaging, Inc. has a long history in the Machine Vision Industry. The organization began as a consulting firm with the purpose to educate companies about the potential of using computers and cameras to perform basic inspections in 1985. The industry was new and was developing quickly. Our customers asked if we could implement the technology that we were recommending.

Over the years we have developed hundreds of machine vision projects in the full EM spectrum, projects ranging from X-Ray to Infrared. We have developed a wide range of product aids from manual inspection to fully automated. Today we concentrate our efforts in Manual Inspection (see mib-lights.com) and surface inspection. The Phoenix Vision Surface Inspection System (PVSIS™) represents the State-of-the-Art Porosity Inspection using 3D cloud data generated by laser sensors.

The acquisition and storage of scanned images is made possible with the Middle-Man 2™ System. The system acts as the central repository for all images and information collected by the scanning equipment. Phoenix Imaging works with several system integration companies that provide the automation equipment in your manufacturing cells.

Phoenix Imaging is located in Livonia Michigan, a suburban community just west of Detroit. Out Engineering and Technical staff design and develop the highest quality software and equipment.
